"Wee Georgie" is the first book in a series of memoirs taking the reader from George's first memories as a small boy to the present day and what he does in his retirement. This first memoir finishes with George leaving primary school at age 12 in February of 1965. It is clearly divided into two sections: firstly, life in the tenements of Parker Street in the centre of Dundee and secondly, George's experience of moving to a bright new home in Charleston on the western edge of town and his six years at his new primary school St. Mary's Lochee.  "Wee Georgie" has sold almost 1000 copies since it was self-published at the end of 2014.
