"Georgie" is the tale of George Burton's life from the end of Primary School to the end of Secondary School at Lawside Academy in Dundee. It is a story of loss of innocence, a passage of rites and a coming-of-age experience. It covers the years 1965-71 when the music was brilliant and the football unrivalled. Wee Georgie gradually became Georgie and the change was stark and permanent.
